I am going to preface the rules by saying that the city has been trying to hard so force grounds of neutrality, force people to play nice, and be civil. The papers and clubs alike have neutered anyone from saying and acting as they want to or need to for fear of running someone else away. I believe this has caused more tension and division than we have ever seen. We are not meant to be a farm of my little ponies who frolic together in fields of wild flowers. The city isn't always friendly or just. We require the ability to say the things, get it out in the open and be damned the consequences. All this pent up frustration is creating more havoc and hate. Sometimes, we all just need to make a good snarky or nasty off topic comment.
As MY attempt at being inclusive, I have decided to go back to the roots I knew here, where we could do and say what we pleased - make the snarky remarks, take threads off topic, be witty and humorous, and yes, share kindness when called for.
RULES:
1- No rules. The exceptions to this rule are involving staff and where things are posted (IE- post things in the correct section, please)
The paper does not assume ANY responsibility for posts made by anyone. There will be no moderators of this paper outside of ladypeacek. I will not be getting involved in any posts or disputes as a moderator. You are all adults- you reap what you sow and you can do as you please as far as comments and posts.
MOD MODE- ALL posts by ME, are being made by me- Mayor Pea and not as a staff member of this paper unless otherwise noted by MOD MODE (and this will be for OOC reasons). Please feel free to hold me equally accountable for my mouth but I do ask you not hold the paper accountable as what I say and do in the paper will not be the opinion or thoughts of those who work on the paper, or the paper as a whole.
You don't have to agree with my sentiments behind this choice. Just follow the rules!
